I’m an English teacher, I should know better, but I love it when my kids consistently mispronounce words. I find it cute and I don’t correct them. I’m just hoping they’ll figure it out eventually. Wrigglebot will want to do something ‘… all my byself’ instead of ‘all by myself’ they will watch ‘Ratatootie’ instead of ‘Ratatouille’ and Squirm puts ‘hair tyres’ into her hair.

Maybe I’m just trying to keep them young. Wrigglebot fell asleep on my lap the other day and I couldn’t help but thinking that it could be for the last time. I think I need to be strong, however, Husband still mispronounces words that he learnt as a child, ‘decipher’ for him is ‘de-ki-fer’, cute when you are under 5 not so when you are over 30.
