So devastating isn't it? And yet it is so hard to stay cranky with them!
The day Milla was born, my husband bought me an orchid - very daring as every flower/indoor plant I have owned I have killed somehow.
Well, this orchid was a winner and it bloomed the following season, right around Milla's 1st birthday. Not only 1 flower, but 3! No one could believe that I had managed to keep a plant alive and that it could in fact be in better shape than ever.
You can probably guess that Milla got her mittens on it not long after the 3rd flower bloomed to life. She snapped the whole stem off and I now have an empty pot with a dead stick - never to blossom again.
It took me a good few days to get over it - though I stayed cross at her for only a minute! They must have some power we don't know about :)
